AAL Robotic club is an activity part of our afterschool program. This program was started in 2011. Lessons, projects and challenges to achieve inspire our students to pursue careers in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM). To quote Mr. Kamen, "To transform our culture by creating a world where science and technology are celebrated and where young people dream of becoming science and technology leaders." Each year, AAL Robotic team build robots and marketing presentation to compete against other schools in exciting competitions (Ecobot, HP Kids day).
AAL Robotics team participated for the second time in the Harris County Department of Education CASE for Kids’ Day at Hewlett Packard, Spring 2017.
Students from area elementary and middle schools had the opportunity to compete and design and
market their own fictional robots and build robots capable of surviving various challenges.
AAL Robotics team won the Overall Championship - 1st Place (third year in a row)
